How to Restore Any Missing Windows System32 Files like Calc,Ms paint etc.,

Though many don’t like Windows OS ,it still remaining the world’s widely used OS especially Win XP .It is an undeniable fact!

For many Windows user the application provided by it becomes inevitable.Ones like calc ,mspaint are some of them.

Some times we might land up deleting them or uninstalling them.

Here is a simple fix to restore the deleted files.Importantly you need not have Windows Os backup to restore the files!

All you need is to navigate to the following location:

c :\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache

Now search and find the deleted or uninstalled exe and then copy them back to System32 folder located @

c :\WINDOWS\system32\

Now the application will be back ,up and running. As usual you can run them using short cut command at Run window.

This might be a simple solution but comes in pretty handy.Hope it was useful

Cannot Create Directshow Player -Solution

Are you flashed with the below error message(”cannot create directshow player“) when ever you try to see videos online or online tv?

What is the reason for the error?

Standard WMP plugin (npdsplay.dll) is no longer being supported because of a security flaw and also Windows Vista and some versions of Windows XP do not include the standard WMP plugin. So we have to install it manually to see videos that require Windows Media Player Plugin.

Here is a simple solution for it.

How to eliminate Cannot Create Directshow Player Error?

1.Visit windows media player firefox plugin download and Download the plugin.

2.Close your all browser windows.

3.Install the plugin and restart the browser.

4.Done.

This should eliminate the error.And you should be able to see videos online without any error messages.

How to Update/Refresh JTextArea Dynamically ?

Some times we want to update the JTextarea dynamically.We want them to display text a log file as and when it is generated from the source .The source can be any thing a class,event generator or a function in a infinite loop returning data continuously (Eg: Voice Recognition Engine continuously listening and returning interpreted voice signal as a text) which we want to display in the JtextArea.

What is the problem we face with JtextArea Updation?

They are updated in one shot.That is they display the initially returned text and then display others only after final text is returned.The text returned in between will not be seen in the JtextArea visually even if you use Jtextarea.append() function or use JComponent refresh !

Finally i found solution for this problem..

What is the solution to update/refresh JtextArea dynamically ?

The key is to use SwingWorker class that is used to updated Swing Components dynamically in background .

How to use it?

-First Instantiate SwingWorker.

-doInBackground() this inbuilt function in SwingWorker.

-done() this methods automatically gets executed in the EDT(Event Dispatch Thread)

-Call Worker.execute()

Example Code:

Many face problem of how to take Screenshot of C/C++ graphics program done using Turboc.Especially students.The reason is Print Screen nor any screen Capture software work in Graphics Mode of Turboc.End result not able to show output to their teachers or doing paint work in MS paint

Here is a simple solution to it..

1.compile your code.
2.Now select Build All.(compile->Build all)
This will create a Exe of your program in the current working directory.
3.Download DosBox
4.Install it and run the EXE.

5.Now you should mount the current working directory of turboc .
For example: type

mount o e:/TCC

6.Now TCC folder will be mounted in to a Virtual Drive o.
7.Navigate to virtual drive o.

8.Now type the name of the program.

For Example: grpahics.exe

9.you can see the output.Now press “print Screen” or use any software to capture the output.For full screen press ALT+ENTER.
