use browser as music playerRecently i was preparing myself to write a post.That time i came to know about an interesting piece of info that i thought to share with you all.Every one loves listening to music.For many of us they have even become a part of our life.We all love listening to our favorites music in our favorite player with volume at maximum.But what when our favorite player is not working and we don’t have any other player installed?
Here is a simple and easy solution to it.Let’s see how to transform our web browser in to a simple Music Player.Don’t worry it does not require any add-ons.

Note: This trick will work only in specific browsers.


How to use your browser as a music player ?

All you need is to Drag and Drop your music in to the browser.Different browsers support different formats i will specify them. Chrome Browser is my favorite choice.


How does it work?

After viewing the source code i came to know that it works via HTML5 support .Most modern browsers support HTML5.HTML5 as inbuilt audio and video support.

    thanks for the nice trick, am already using it. Try chrome extensionFM extension which is specially for listening music. It is total awesome.

    Thank you. Yet I think these tweaks make the surfing experience just slower and less comfortable. Browsers are intended to browse, music player for playing music :)
