    I’ve been playing with the Bolt browser for a couple of hours now and my impressions are generally pretty good, Bolt is written in Java ME like Opera Mini and according to Bitstream can run on “nearly all” Java based handsets that support MIDP 2 and CLDC 1.0 :-) :-)

      Choose the correct wizard in the bolt browser.If your mobile supports .sis format use SKYFIRE browser.It too supports video streaming

    I have LG KM555e mobile and when i start to install boltc.jar, it just keeps on loading bolt.. It doesn’t seem to even finished the installation process.. Waited about 10mins and the dots are still loading.. Tried re-installing it and it still does the same. What do you think happened?

    Hi, I’m commenting today because I discovered a problem, and even the Bolt unable to play the live stream, I mean the “Justin TV”, it asks to install the flash player :/

    i downloaded the jar version, hmmm its realy good n beter than other browsers but still is not playin the online videos so wat wil be the solution?????

      It does play online videos from sites like Youtube,metacafe etc., i have tested it myself.But if your phone supports only .jar then no other go.If it supports other format like .sis you can try SkyFire Broswer.

    hey guys i use bolt. opera and uc web browse, bolt is the only browser that streams video(not from all sites ofcourse) go to you tube or any other biggies to stream , if its your first time then media setup wizard will appear
    step 1) press play icon wait untill it loads after that again press play it plays, if it doesnt then select no and press next
    step2) again click play it says loading 01% , wait untill it completes and click play again (if it still doesnt work it suggests that your hand set doesnt support rtsp links)
    step3) select play again now the video that was supposed to be streamed gets downloaded in to your gallary files and u can view them at your wish

    The speed of bolt video streaming is very slow and sites like orkut does’nt open in it……ANY OTHER OPTION OR APPLICATION FOR LIVE TV

      Speed of buffering of video does depend on your GPRS transfer rate.

    does bolt play major porn streaming sites like pc does?? i mean if we use simple explorer the videos are first downloaded to microSD of the mob and then we have to play it?? is this the case with bolt or it directly plays the videos on the go like youtube???

    Thanks for your quick response. But Shanmugha brother I already had installed the exact same version that you provided (of course after reading your blog). I even over reinstalled the one you provided to me. But the problem is its not getting connected. It keeps on showing attempting to connect, but never gets connected. Your assistance will be highly appreaciated. I have c503. Aircel is my network.

    Shanmugha brother I am still waiting for your response. Please help me. I have a project to prepare using my mobile only. The training material and reference videoa are available online only which dont even any download option. I will have to view online only. Please I need this to work asap.

      Hi anas,

      Did you go through the video setup wizard?It will let you choose the apt video mode for your mobile.But from your comment i can suggest one thing.As far as the reference video is concerned which you said does not have a download option you can try this trick How to Download ANY video from ANY Website without any Tool.If you wont mind tell me the site where the video is host i will try suggesting a way to download from there.And did you try Skyfire browser?Because s60 series supports it.

      If you want to download youtube video on to your mobile using bolt browser use the third video mode provided by bolt browser.It allows you to download the video and then play it using your default mobile video player.Or alternatively you can use any youtube video download services like keepvid.com etc., and then transfer the video from your desktop to your mobile.
