Email iconEmail has become an indispensable part of our life.Exchanging mail ,pictures have become a common activity. Most of the time we send pictures by attaching them but in certain situation it’s better to insert image inline in an Email. For example sending a “Birthday E-card” is better expressed when the user sees the card just by opening the Email rather downloading the attachment and seeing it.

So lets see

How to insert an image inline in an Email

1.First the image you want to embed must be made available online.
So upload your image in any web host.

For Example:

Imageshack

You will get a Direct link to lmage.

Eg: http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/7645/emailicon.png

Copy and paste the link in address bar of your browser and hit enter,
now you will be able to view the picture.

2. Open new window in your browser and log into your email account and compose a mail as usual.

3.Now drag and drop the image from other window into your email body. Now you can see the image is embedded in to your email message.

4.Done!

If you are still lost and unable to follow the steps, check out the video demo below.

Not bad at all! Nice intro. I didn’t notice that Google Lab had introduced a similar feature, big possibility I’ve missed that. Good to have another alternative instead.
