Yahoo messenger is one among the widely used messenger with enormous number of feature build in too it.It’s my favorite too.

How to see chat log or history in Yahoo Messenger is a one question that comes to many of its user and we see people discussing this in many forums .This post will put an end to that.Lets see how to see to chat history in YM.

Method 1:

1.Login in to Messenger.
2.Click on Contacts->Message Archive
3.In the new window that opens up you can see your chat history under Messages folder.

Method 2:

1.Login in to Messenger.
2.Double click any of the contacts and then press Alt + Shift + v.
3.In the new window that opens up you can see your chat history under Messages folder.

To change the Archive Setting press Ctrl + Shift + p


How to save Chat History in Yahoo Messenger

You can save the chat log by pressing save button (floppy icon) that’s available at top left of the window or by clicking Message > Save.

    I always keep my chats safe and message archive ON because many times other bloggers exchange some good and useful links and i forgot to bookmark them and this is best way to save all chat history .
