Red represents IE 6.

This post is for all those IE6 lovers who are still sticking on with it .It’s simple yet a effective trick that can boost up Internet Explorer browsing speed. Don’t worry it does not involve any messy registry tweaking. The software i am going to mention is not actually built for this purpose but i found it tends to boost the IE speed.

Its a impressive piece of software a little dynamite capable of doing varies things. In one of my previous post too is have mentioned about this software. It’s

UltraSurf

So how to use it to speed up Internet Explorer?

All you need to do is download the software and start using Internet Explorer via it.Unzip and Start u95.exe then start using IE as usual.

Now you can surely find difference in browsing speed compared too when you used IE without using UltraSurf.

Was it useful?Did you find any difference in Speeds ?

Note:But there is no guarantee that this trick will work 100% for everyone

It would have been very good if you would have not written this post! NO offences, but I think this is somewhat a support for people who use IE6.

I agree with Tech Freak Stuff. At the very least, you should have written in the end with a 50px red font that ALL IE6 USERS ARE RECOMMENDED TO UPGRADE – NOW! And possibly tell them that if they don’t, then somebody will come and hunt them down :)

I am Opera and Firefox all the way. The only Internet Explorer I ever used was 4 because Netscape was going down hill at that time.

I agree on Carl’s point….the easiest way to speed up IE is to download Firefox and never use IE again….FF is so much better it isn’t even funny.

  13. Though IE6 is old and not that much preferred it might be of help to those who just want a quick fixup and go along with it.I prefer newer versions of IE as many sites simply would not load that well in IE6.Also the time I would take in downloading to improve IE6 might be the same for having latest IE8 instead, don’t you think so?

You are right..But we still see that people are lazy enough to use IE 6 stats show that this post is for those people but my personal advice is to upgrade to latest version or switch over to other browser’s :)

I know this is a very old post, but I wanted to know what is the pupose of that tool? I have used it. It does improve browsing though. Still just out of curiosity, cause you mentioned in your post “not built for this purpose”
