Adding counter is very useful to keep track of our website progress.Wordpress and blog.co.in does not allow users to use JavaScript for security purpose ,unlike Blogspot which allows all kind of 3rd party html and Javascript code.To add counter to wordpress and blog.co.in just follow this steps:

(you should ensure your code does not contain any script tags)
1.Navigate to site meter
2.Sign up and get the code which does not contain script tag.The “second” type of code provided by the site meter site.(select any of the animated counter available of your choice)
3.copy the code.
4.Sign in ,to wordpress or blog.co.in
5.Navigate to “settings” option at the right top of the page.
6.click “Design” option and then click “SideBar Editor”.
7.Now add “Text” sidebar available on the left side.
8.After adding text side bar click “edit” option in it and paste the counter code.
9.Click ‘change’ and press “save changes”
10.Done! Visit the site, you can find the counter!cheers:)
